Welcome! We’re Liz Beavers and Karen Andersen, partners and co-owners of The Petal and Wheel in Staunton, Virginia, where we make functional and decorative pottery for the home and garden.

Our work is currently on display at The Marketplace at Black Dog Salvage in Roanoke, Virginia.

Upcoming markets/shows in 2026:

Staunton Farmers Market August Dates 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th. From 7 am to 12 noon. SFM September Dates are the 12th, 19th and 26th.

We will also be participating in the 59th annual Art in the Park at Gypsy Hill on Labor Day weekend Sept 5th 10 am to 5 pm and Sept 6th 11 am to 5 pm.

Our business grew out of our passion for making things by hand, and our belief that our homes can be filled with objects that bring beauty and delight to our every day lives.  Whether sipping morning coffee from a favorite mug, watching birds splash around in a one-of-a-kind bird bath, or sending a beautiful card to a loved one, we believe life's simple pleasures greatly contribute to our sense of peace and well-being.
